Strategic Insurance Solutions announces formation and FSA authority London, UK, April 5th, 2012 – Richard Slatter, ex CEO of AON Benfield Middle East, announces the formation of a new venture – Strategic Insurance Solutions.
The Company will focus on the fast growing insurance market in the Middle East and North Africa. The aim of the Company is to fill the advisory gap that currently exists between management consultants, reinsurers and the brokers. The focus will be to assist in the growth of its clients, by offering impartial advice in relation to new products and existing reinsurance structures. In addition, the Company will be able to offer a traditional broking service, including independent; Rating Agency Advisory, ERM, Capital and Catastrophe Modelling advice.
It is expected that the Company’s investment and show of confidence in the region will deliver real value to its client base and position itself ahead of its peer group. Richard Slatter is a well-respected executive that has worked successfully in the Middle East and North African market for over 25 years. Throughout this period he has acquired an extensive understanding of the both the local and international markets and an extensive network of personal contacts, which will now be enhanced by working with a number of carefully selected independent regional retail brokers. The Company is registered in the UK and authorised by the FSA to advise and arrange commercial insurance contracts.
International broker partners will handle all policy transactional aspects and the holding of client money. The Company plans to establish a regional branch office further enhancing its commitment to being a Client led local business.
